Teo is Assistant Director, Research at UBC Health, where she leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of interdisciplinary health research programs and capacity-building initiatives. Her work in primary care focuses on building practical research infrastructure that supports applied research and evaluation in real-world clinical and learning environments.
At UBC Health, Teo supports the research and evaluation foundations for the UBC Gateway Team-Based Care Teaching Clinic and the Centre for Innovation in Collaborative Health Education and Team-Based Care. Her work includes developing evaluation frameworks, supporting learning health system development, and creating pathways for collaboration that connect partners across the health sector.
Teo brings over 15 years of experience across academic, nonprofit, and public-sector health research settings, including leadership roles in evidence synthesis, policy and evaluation, and knowledge mobilization. Her current focus is on understanding how team dynamics and effective collaboration shape innovation in practice.
